Enemies Within, part 3

ENEMIES WITHIN, PART 3

The last two months were terribly long. And it all started when I had barely joined the Tribe. But it did. The poisoning of Garjon, the masked assassin, the Stendarr's Shadows, the Sacred Grove and the great betrayal. Yeah, it was rough. It was bloody and it was hard. But now... it will be only harder. We have been preparing now for weeks to strike down, Methoven giving order, Garjon training the fresh ones and Kotathix bringing our brothers and sisters to stay hidden in our new home. Me? I was boiling inside, but was handling it. Roumi didn't - we lost contact with her and after a while we thought that the Sacred Grove got her, but we were mistaken and she didn't know what hadhappened. She was pissed, really, really pissed. We had to wait.

We got a message from Runa, she wanted to meet us near Ivarsted, near an old barrow. We found her assaulting a Khajiit I remember from the assault on Helseth. He was begging her for mercy but he told us everything - that the Sacred Grove's leader and Arvamea were near the Ash Mountain's peak, digging something up. Runa did not spare him, the poor girl, devastated by death of Alpha as much as we all did.
So we went there. The Sacred Grove were extreme to the square. Not only that, some of them were werewolves, but they also summoned the Daedra, preventing us from getting any higher. Methoven and few others had to stay, covering us while we proceeded. We managed to get to the top to see her and the lord of the Grove. She was clearly insane, and she betrayed her husband or partner (I never asked Helseth about that...) out of boredom and for the thrill of chaos and violence. She was outnumbered 6 to 1 and even then she gave us a hard time. She managed to badly injure most of us, including myself, but we managed to harm her as well and with a distraction, Garjon laid the killing blow and one of the new ones slayed Sacred groves leader.

Then out of a sudden, from the daedric shrine Hircine himself (or rather his avatar) appeared. He explained to us that this was all a test to see if the Tribe can withstand betrayal and death of its leader. He was pleased but we weren’t. Beaten and broken, but he didn't mind that (or did not care for all I can say). In the end he told us our reward will be awaiting in a town called Selfora. We were so shocked and tried to see that Arvamea faked her own death and escaped.

While we were entering Selfora we heard a huge noise and saw something or someone falling down the sky. We rushed to the town square only to see... Helseth... badly wounded, half naked and barely breathing. And Arvamea was holding him and asked us for help. By the Eight, Three and any other gods that may listen, what is happening here?
